You can manually download an APK file (android application file) and either :
Sync it to the device cloud account (dropbox or google drive) and manually install it from there
Push the device the APK via pushbullet
Install the application from your PC airdroid
Go to XBMC main menu, select movies, files, root and add this path : /mnt/extUSB
Not all games are supported with gamepad controller function. Please refer to the game developer for more info.
in case you insist, please try the driodmote application from the google play store as it most probably will solve your issue.
It will require you manual key mapping though.

1. Once a new firmware is released you will receive a notification in the notification bar. Press on it to go to XTREAMER UPDATER app.
You can also check for updates from within the application.
If there is an update available you can choose to download it.
When the new firmware is downloaded, close all the running apps and press UPDATE.
The Multi-Console will install the update and reboot.
IMPORTANT: Do not power off your Xtreamer Multi-Console during the upgrade procedure. It can damage the device.
2. Alternatively you can install the firmware update manually by downloading the latest firmwares from the Xtreamer main site download section and copying it on to your console's internal storage.
Enter Xtreamer Updater and reboot to Recovery:
In the Recovery mode choose INSTALL FROM ZIP and then navigate to the location of the upgrade file.
You can also wipe\reset your Xtreamer from the recovery mode.
In order for your PC to recognise the Multi-Console device you must first install the relevant drivers. So before you attempt to update
the firmware remember to install the RK Driver, which can be downloaded from here: Drivers pack
Unfortunately, it is not possible to update the firmware using an Apple MacBook, or other Apple OS computers. Firmware updates
can currently only be completed when using a PC running either Windows XP, Windows 7 or Windows 8. Support for Windows 8.1
is coming soon.
No, we strongly advise users not to use the SD card method to update the firmware. It has been proven that this method causes issues
to the system. It is important to follow the conventional PC upgrade method to ensure a 'clean' update.
The internal storage of the Xtreamer Multi-Console is 16GB, though some storage space is occupied by pre-installed apps and the
Android Operating System. The remaining amount is divided into two partitions; Internal Storage = 3.94GB, NAND FLASH = 10.51GB.
There are two options regarding how to turn off the Xtreamer. You will see the power icon along the task bar at the bottom of the
Android home-screen. Click this icon and you will be presented with the options to either shut down, sleep or re-boot. Or Take out
the power chord. Choose the appropriate option.
Customers should be reminded that the Multi-Console does not have a physical power button. Instead both devices come with auto
power-on feature, meaning the media hub will conveniently power up as soon as it's plugged in to the mains power. Xtreamer prides
itself on the minimal power consumption of our media devices, so you can safely leave your Multi-Console plugged in and on
stand-by mode 24/7/365.
Please go to settings, there is an option to auto-hide the task-bar.
Install any other android launcher of your choice. Go to "Settings", then "Apps". Select “Xtreamer”. Then click on "Clear Defaults".
When you next press the home button you will be presented with the options of what launcher you wish to use. Remember to select
"Just Once" if you don't want to make this launcher selection permanent.
Your Device is compatible with external hard drives up to a maximum of 2.5TB. Also, most external hard drives do not require an
external power source to work, and can be sufficiently powered by the media hub via the USB port.
We recommend the Logitech Webcam C Series for use - specifically the C110, C170, C210, C920 and C525. Other web-cams may
work, however these are the models that have been tested and verified by Xtreamer, and we can ensure compatibility.
Yes, your Xtreamer Multi-Console is capable of Full HD real-time streaming (though this is dependent upon the speed of your internet
connection). Whether wanting to browse YouTube, watch TEDTalks, catch up on your favourite TV shows on BBC iPlayer, or see the
latest Hollywood Blockbuster on Netflix all can be done (regional restrictions may apply).
Yes, it is possible to mirror the screen / remotely control your PC using your Xtreamer Multi-console device. There are certain apps
available from the Google Play Store that allow you do this, we recommend 'Splashtop Remote Desktop'. Splashtop Remote
Desktop allows a user to remotely connect to a main computer from another computer or mobile device to access content or run
Your Multi-Console compatible with both PlayStation and Xbox controllers, simply sync the controllers and start playing...
Additionally, it also compatible with Android games controllers such as the MOGA PRO Series. We recommend either for enhancing
your gaming experience.
Unfortunately, there is no remote app available for iOS (iPhone,Ipad etc..)
on the top left of your airmouse you will see a button. press on it and it will turn off your mouse function allowing you to navigate the device with the directional keys like a normal remote control.
Your multi-console requires interval cleaning of memory and cache.
At the bottom right of your screen you will see a clean cache button. It will direct you to the "Gemeini Manager" application that will allow you a one button click for memory optimization at top of the screen and on the top right option menu you will find clean cache, please click it. Please
perform cleaning of memory before every game or heavy application playback.
The best way is to use the application called Airdroid which we included as built-in app to the device. Simply turn it on and see on the screen the IP address it generates. Than go to your PC web browser and type the ip address in chrome or firefox. Once connection establish you will have to confirm the connection on the screen.
We recommend you to install from the Google Play store an application called DroidNAS. Open it and enable SD card and start the server. Then, go to your OSX Finder and press Cmmd+ K. Login as guest. You will see your MultiConsole as a drive on your finder allowing you to copy any file to and from the device wirelessly.
While it is possible to use xbmc or archos player, we rather wanted to show you a more conventional way. In your multiConsole goto ES File manager ( you will see an icon in your top right of the main screen). On the right side you will see NETWORK. Click on it and than press at the button bar on SCAN. It will show you any shared server on the network. You will be able to navigate inside and once you locate a movie file you want to play click on it and select MX Player as your desired player.
We did not include it in the pre-installed applications but you are warmly recommended to install from the google play store an application called MirrorOP Receiver. On your mac or PC install the MirrorOP Sender.
In your Smartphone (Jelly bean is confirmed to work well) goto your Settings/Display and enable Wifi Display. In your MultiConsole open the Wifi Display application (showed as 3rd row on the top right icons in your MultiCosnosle launcher). You will see the device showed on your Smartphone. click and allow connection. Your device will be mirrored in no time.
Enable the CheapCast server. On the main menu, you will see in the top right an android robot icon. Click on it and enable the server. Goto your PC Youtube from Chrome browser, start play and than press the Play to TV button on the Youtube player.
Goto your XBMC on the MultiConsole. Click on Videos/Files/Add Videos. Now press Browse. Navigate to the bottom of the list to Root/mnt/usb_storage. Confirm.
Goto your XBMC on the MultiConsole. Click on Videos/Files/Add Videos. Now press Browse. Navigate to the bottom of the list to Windows SMB network. Click the Workgroup. Select your shared folder. Confirm.
Please download on your Multi-Console the Droidmote Server from the Google Play Store. Start the server. On your Smartphone install Droidmote Client. Search and connect.
